The fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by primarily investing in securities issued by companies listed in Hong Kong, the People’s Republic of China, Singapore, the United States or the United Kingdom which are principally engaged in health related industries in China.

The fund is exposed to companies in the health related industries in China, including pharmaceuticals, bio-technology, medical devices, healthcare providers, hospitals, nursing homes and environmental protection. The fund may invest in these companies through equities, equity-related securities, depositary receipts, debt securities and money market instruments.

Investors should be aware that the fund does not use a benchmark and the investment manager invests in companies based on a combination of value and growth. Additionally, any income arising from the fund’s investments is usually reinvested. Investors also have the opportunity to redeem their units in the fund twice per month, on the 1st and 15th calendar days.
