The fund is an index-tracking passively managed fund that seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI Japan SRI S-Series PAB 5% Capped (NTR) index with a maximum tracking error of 1%. The index consists of Japanese companies selected based on a minimum Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) rating and efforts to reduce exposure to coal and unconventional fossil fuels.

The fund invests in shares issued by companies included in the index, following the index's weightings through full replication or optimized replication.
