The Fund aims to provide a total return, substantially by way of income with some capital appreciation by applying actively allocated, but, passively implemented strategies.

The Fund will invest in bonds issued by governments and other organisations, shares, other investment funds, cash, deposits, money market instruments, derivatives, and hedge funds. It may also invest indirectly in private equities, property, and commodities. There are no geographical restrictions on the countries of investment.

The Fund may use derivatives for Efficient Portfolio Management (EPM), to protect against market or currency movements, to reduce costs, or to earn income or capital. The Fund may also use derivatives for investment purposes. Although the Fund is actively managed, it invests in passively implemented strategies and is not tracking any benchmark.
