General Objective
The objective of this passively managed Sub-Fund is to track the performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index and minimize the tracking error between the net asset value of the Sub-Fund and the performance of the Index. The Sub-Fund aims to achieve a level of tracking error that will not normally exceed 2%.
Fund Exposure
The Sub-Fund is exposed to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, which is an equity index representative of the large and mid-cap markets across 23 emerging countries. The exposure to the Index is achieved through Direct Replication, mainly by making direct investments in transferable securities and/or other eligible assets representing the Index constituents in a proportion extremely close to their proportion in the index.
Risks
Some of the risks associated with this Sub-Fund include market risk, tracking error risk, and the potential impact of derivatives used by the Investment Manager to deal with inflows and outflows or to better expose to an Index constituent. Additionally, there may be risks associated with securities lending operations entered into by the Sub-Fund to generate additional income.
