The fund aims to achieve a return on investment through a combination of capital growth and income on the fund's assets, reflecting the return of the MSCI EM Minimum Volatility ESG Reduced Carbon Target Index.

The fund provides exposure to a subset of equity securities from Emerging Market countries with a minimum volatility profile and improved MSCI weighted-average industry-adjusted ESG scores. It excludes companies involved in controversial weapons, nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, tobacco, oil sands, and thermal coal, based on ESG principles.

Investment risk is concentrated in specific sectors, countries, currencies, or companies, making the fund sensitive to localized economic, market, political, sustainability-related, or regulatory events. Currency risk, daily stock market movements, counterparty risk, and credit risk are also associated risks with this fund.
