The SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 Yr US Trs Bd ETF aims to mirror the performance of the short-term U.S. Treasury bond market by investing in U.S. government bonds with maturities ranging from one to three years. It tracks the Bloomberg U.S. 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Index, which includes 96 publicly issued U.S. Treasury securities while excluding special issues such as state and local government series bonds, Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS), and STRIPS.
