Volare Defensive seeks to grow capital while keeping investment risk low by building a diverse portfolio that includes up to 40% in shares of companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs), exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and exchange-traded commodities (ETCs). The remaining portion, up to 90%, is invested in cash, bonds, and money market instruments to provide stability. Most of these investments are made indirectly through collective investment schemes, and the fund may also use derivatives to efficiently manage the portfolio without increasing its overall risk.
