Siemens AG reported robust financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, demonstrating sustained growth in orders, revenue, and net income despite a volatile global market. The company continued to leverage digitalization and sustainability as key growth drivers and successfully expanded into new markets with the acquisition of Dotmatics. Siemens maintains its confident outlook for delivering sustainable and profitable growth for the full fiscal year.

Strong Order Growth

Orders increased by 28% on a comparable basis, excluding currency translation and portfolio effects, driven primarily by a significant rise in large orders within the Mobility sector. On a nominal basis, total orders grew by 25% to €24.7 billion, supported by a strong book-to-bill ratio of 1.28.

Revenue and Profitability

Revenue rose by 3% to €19.4 billion, with most industrial businesses contributing to this growth. The Industrial Business segment reported a profit of €2.8 billion with a margin of 14.9%. Net income increased to €2.2 billion, and basic earnings per share reached €2.61.

Exceptional Free Cash Flow

Free cash flow surged to €2.9 billion in Q3 FY 2025, up from €2.1 billion in the same quarter last year. This improvement across all industrial businesses supports Siemens' target of achieving a double-digit free cash flow return for the full fiscal year.

Segment Performance Highlights

Mobility orders more than tripled, driven by large contracts in Egypt and the U.S., while Smart Infrastructure and Digital Industries maintained strong revenue growth despite challenging conditions. The successful acquisition of Dotmatics has opened new opportunities in the life sciences sector, enhancing Siemens' industrial AI capabilities.
