Schweiter Technologies AG achieved net sales of CHF 493.7 million with a year-on-year decline of 6% (or 4% after currency adjustments) while recording an EBITDA of CHF 43.4 million, maintaining a margin of 8.8% compared to 8.7% in the previous period.

Forex Impact and Net Income

The net income dropped to CHF 12.8 million, a 37% decline primarily driven by unfavorable currency impacts from a strong Swiss franc, despite efforts under the “Accelerate” program to enhance operational efficiency.

Strategic Divestiture

The Group divested its non-core Bus & Rail unit to Hypax, which is expected to streamline the portfolio and bolster the margin profile. Although this move is set to result in a non-cash book loss of about CHF 26 million in the full-year results, it supports the focus on core lightweight composite solutions.

Regional and Segment Highlights

Strong performances were noted in the Core Materials and Architecture segments, particularly in North America and Europe, while the Display business experienced lower sales in key markets. Asian markets showed mixed results with growth in Core Materials but challenges for the Architecture business, alongside a subdued global marine market.
