Improved EBIT Margin in Q2

The company's EBIT reached €4.0 million, resulting in an EBIT margin of 3.5%, down from 4.5% the previous year. Notably, the EBIT margin surged to 6.2% in the second quarter of 2024, up from 0.7% in Q1, driven by earnings contributions from the service business. Excluding one-off expenses of €0.8 million for the efficiency program, the EBIT margin would have been 4.2%.

Strong Growth in Energy Management

The Energy Management segment achieved a remarkable 26% revenue growth, outperforming other areas despite the economic downturn. This growth was fueled by high demand for thermal management systems in rail vehicles and e-mobility charging infrastructure, along with significant new orders for data center cooling systems and battery thermal management systems for e-buses.

Positive Outlook and Guidance Confirmation

Technotrans SE maintains its full-year 2024 guidance, expecting group revenue between €245 million and €270 million with an EBIT margin of 5.5% to 7.5%. The Board of Management also reaffirms mid-term targets for 2025, highlighting confidence in increased revenue and earnings momentum in the second half of 2024, supported by a solid order backlog of €84 million and successful implementation of the ttSprint efficiency program.
