Woodside Energy Group Ltd reported its third-quarter financial results for the period ended 30 September 2025. The company experienced a modest increase in production, maintained strong operational reliability across key assets, and advanced several major projects. Additionally, Woodside updated its full-year 2025 production guidance and highlighted strategic business developments and capital expenditures.

Production and Revenue

Quarterly production reached 50.8 MMboe (552 Mboe/d), a 1% increase from Q2 2025. The Sangomar asset contributed significantly, producing 99 Mbbl/d and generating $477 million in revenue for the quarter.

Operational Reliability

Woodside achieved exceptional operational reliability, with Pluto LNG operating at 100% reliability and the North West Shelf Project maintaining 99.9% reliability during the quarter.

Project Progress

The Scarborough Energy Project is 91% complete and on track for first LNG in the second half of 2026. Additionally, the Beaumont New Ammonia Project is 97% complete, targeting production by late 2025, while the Trion Project progresses toward first oil in 2028.

Financial Guidance

Woodside revised its full-year 2025 production guidance to 192 – 197 MMboe. The company maintained its strong performance outlook, with production costs expected to range between $7.6 and $8.1 per boe.

Strategic Developments

The company received final environmental approval for the North West Shelf Project Extension, enabling operations beyond 2030. Woodside also agreed to assume operatorship of the Bass Strait assets and completed the divestment of the Greater Angostura assets, adding $259 million in cash.

Capital Expenditure

Total capital expenditure for the quarter was $1,323 million, with significant investments directed towards the Scarborough and Louisiana LNG projects, ensuring the advancement of key growth initiatives.
