Strong Revenue and Margin Growth

Total revenues reached RMB18.27 billion – a 125.3% increase year-over-year – driven primarily by vehicle sales revenue of RMB16.88 billion, which saw a 147.6% rise. Gross margin improved to 17.3%, while vehicle margin climbed to 14.3%, reflecting enhanced cost management and a better product mix.

Record Vehicle Deliveries

XPeng delivered 103,181 vehicles in Q2 2025, a dramatic 241.6% year-over-year increase compared to the corresponding period in 2024. This surge was supported by an expanding physical sales network of 677 stores across 224 cities and a growing self-operated charging station network.

Improved Profitability Metrics

The company narrowed its net loss to RMB0.48 billion (US$0.07 billion) in Q2 2025, down significantly from RMB1.28 billion a year earlier. On a non-GAAP basis, net loss improved to RMB0.39 billion, indicating progress in reducing overall losses while investing in growth initiatives.

Robust Liquidity and Investment Position

XPeng maintained a strong liquidity position with cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash, short-term investments, and time deposits totaling RMB47.57 billion (US$6.64 billion) as of June 30, 2025, underscoring its financial strength to support future expansion.

Operational Developments and Strategic Initiatives

Besides the impressive financial results, XPeng bolstered its market position by launching the G7 smart electric SUV and enhancing its charging infrastructure.
