Invesco Dow Jones Islamic Global Developed Markets ETF is a passive fund that aims to track the net total return performance of the Dow Jones Islamic Market Developed Markets Index, less fees. The index is built from stocks traded in developed markets and applies Shari’ah screens before inclusion. It excludes companies involved in alcohol, tobacco, pork-related products, non-Islamic financial services, weapons and defence, and entertainment, then checks the remaining names against financial ratio filters to remove securities with unacceptable levels of debt or impure interest income. The fund uses physical replication, meaning it invests directly in the index constituents it holds, while seeking broad exposure to developed-market equities that meet the index’s Islamic investment criteria.
