The fund aims to achieve a return on investment through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund's assets, reflecting the return of the MSCI USA Minimum Volatility ESG Reduced Carbon Target Index.

The fund provides exposure to a subset of equity securities from the US market with a minimum volatility profile and improved MSCI weighted-average industry-adjusted ESG scores. It excludes companies involved in controversial weapons, nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, tobacco, oil sands, and thermal coal, while also selecting companies with minimum volatility of returns and weighted-average industry-adjusted ESG score improvement.

Investment risk is concentrated in specific sectors, countries, currencies, or companies, making the fund sensitive to localized economic, market, political, sustainability-related, or regulatory events. The value of equities and equity-related securities can be affected by daily stock market movements, political and economic news, company earnings, and significant corporate events. Additionally, there is no guarantee that the Benchmark Index will provide exposure to securities with low volatility characteristics as intended.
