iShares € High Yield CorpBd ETF holds a portfolio designed to mirror the Markit iBoxx Euro Liquid High Yield Index by owning large, liquid corporate bonds that are below investment grade (but rated above CC) and denominated in euros; included bonds must have at least €250 million outstanding, come from both Eurozone and non‑Eurozone issuers, and new additions need 2 to 10.5 years to maturity. The fund uses optimization techniques to match the index and may temporarily keep bonds whose ratings change until they no longer meet the index rules and can be sold.
