iShares MSCI EM ESG Enhanced UCITS ETF USD Acc

The fund aims to track the performance of an index measuring the performance of a subset of emerging market equity securities which are part of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index and excludes companies from the Parent Index based on the index provider’s environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) exclusionary criteria.

The fund provides exposure to a portfolio of emerging market equity securities which are part of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index and aims to exceed decarbonisation and other minimum standards for an EU Climate Transition Benchmark (CTB) while maximizing exposure to issuers with higher ESG ratings. It excludes companies involved in controversial activities and adopts a significant ESG optimization approach to sustainable investing.

Risks associated with this fund include sensitivity to economic and political conditions in emerging markets, liquidity risk, concentration risk in specific sectors, countries, or companies, and the potential impact of ESG screening on the value of investments compared to funds without such screening. Counterparty risk and the insolvency of institutions providing services may also expose the fund to financial loss.
