iShares MSCI USA CTB Enhanced ESG ETF holds a portfolio of U.S. equities drawn from the MSCI USA universe but screened and weighted to meet stricter climate and ESG rules: it aims to exceed the decarbonisation and other minimum standards for an EU Climate Transition Benchmark and to give greater weight to companies with higher ESG ratings, while excluding firms involved in controversial or conventional/nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, thermal coal, tobacco, unconventional oil and gas, UN Global Compact violations, or those with red MSCI ESG controversies.
