The SPDR Blmbrg SASB US Hi Yld Corp ESG ETF invests in a diversified portfolio of U.S. high yield corporate bonds that are fixed-rate and denominated in U.S. dollars. It specifically selects bonds from companies with strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings, while excluding those involved in controversial business activities. The fund prioritizes securities from the Bloomberg SASB US Corporate High Yield ESG Ex-Controversies Select Index, using an optimization process to enhance the overall ESG quality of the portfolio and manage risk. Over 90% of the fund’s assets are held in these carefully chosen high yield bonds.
