WisdomTree Bund 10Y 5x Daily Short is designed to provide investors with five times the opposite of the daily movement of German 10-year government bonds. It achieves this by holding a leveraged short position in EuroBund futures contracts, which are agreements to buy or sell German government bonds with maturities between 8.5 and 10.5 years on the EUREX exchange. Each quarter, the fund shifts its investments to the next set of these short-term futures contracts to maintain its targeted inverse exposure.
