The fund is a fully collateralised, UCITS eligible Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) designed to provide investors with total return exposure to a basket of Petroleum futures contracts, aiming to replicate the Bloomberg Petroleum Sub Total Return Index by tracking the Bloomberg Petroleum Sub Excess Return Index.
Fund Exposure
The fund is exposed to the movement in the price of futures contracts of petroleum commodities such as Brent Crude, Crude Oil, Heating Oil, and RBOB Gasoline. These contracts are continuously rolled on a pre-determined schedule to maintain exposure to the commodities. The fund's value is impacted by the roll yield, which can be positive or negative depending on market trends like contango or backwardation.
