WisdomTree STOXX Eur Oil &Gas2xDlsht aims to deliver twice the inverse daily performance of the largest European oil and gas companies by shorting the STOXX Europe 600 Oil & Gas Index. This means the fund takes leveraged short positions on major European oil and gas firms included in the STOXX Europe 600, seeking to amplify the opposite movement of the sector’s overall performance each day. If the European oil and gas sector decreases in value, the fund is designed to increase in value by twice that amount, and vice versa.
