The fund aims to achieve a combination of income and growth by investing in bonds issued by companies, governments, or other bodies in Asian countries, following the abrdn "Asian High Yield Sustainable Investment Approach".

The fund invests at least 90% in bonds issued by corporations and governments, with at least 70% in sub-investment grade and unrated Asian bonds. It may also invest up to 20% in non-Asian bonds, following the Investment Approach that considers ESG factors and excludes companies with high ESG risks.

Investors should be aware that the value of investments can fall, and they may get back less than the amount invested. The fund invests in high yielding bonds, which carry a greater risk of default than those with lower yields. Additionally, the fund price can fluctuate daily due to various factors such as changes in interest rates or credit quality.
