General Objective
The fund aims to achieve a combination of growth and income by investing in smaller capitalization companies listed on global stock markets, including Emerging Markets, which adhere to the abrdn Global Smaller Companies Promoting ESG Equity Investment Approach. The fund aims to outperform the MSCI AC World Small Cap Index (USD) benchmark before charges.
Fund Exposure
The fund invests at least 70% of its assets in smaller capitalization equities and equity-related securities of companies listed on global stock exchanges, including Emerging Markets. It may also invest up to 20% of its net assets in Mainland China equity and equity-related securities. The fund follows the Investment Approach, which focuses on qualitative and quantitative ESG analysis and excludes companies exposed to high ESG risks. The fund also applies company exclusions related to the UN Global Compact, Controversial Weapons, Tobacco Manufacturing, and Thermal Coal.
