Objective: To generate income and increase the value of the shareholder’s investment over the long term (income and capital growth). Investment policy: The Fund invests 80% or more of its total net assets in bonds, which may be issued by the UK government, other governments, public bodies, international organisations and/or companies, that are investment grade and priced in Sterling. Derivatives: The Fund may use derivatives for efficient portfolio management, which includes reducing exposure to various investment risks (hedging). Benchmark: The Fund is actively managed within its investment objective and policy, and is not limited by any benchmark. If you invest in income shares, income from investments in the Fund will be paid out to you. If you invest in accumulation shares, income will be added to the value of your shares. Recommendation: This Fund may not be appropriate for investors who plan to withdraw their money within 5 years.
