The fund aims to generate long-term growth by investing in UK equities that adhere to the abrdn UK Ethical Equity Investment Approach. The performance target is to achieve the return of the FTSE All-Share Index, plus 2% per annum over rolling five-year periods.

The fund will invest at least 70% in UK equities with preferred Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) characteristics. It applies a set of company exclusions related to areas such as animal testing, weaponry, pornography, gambling, tobacco, and alcohol. The management team focuses on stock selection using research techniques to select companies that align with their views on future economic and business conditions.

Due to the ethical nature of the management process, there are a significant number of companies and sectors in the Index that the fund is unable to invest in, which may lead to a deviation in performance compared to the Index. Additionally, the fund may not be suitable for investors planning to withdraw their money within five years, and investors should ensure that their risk tolerance aligns with the fund's risk profile before investing.
