The fund aims to provide a combination of income and capital growth over any 7 year period.

The fund primarily invests at least 80% in equities of companies listed, quoted, or traded in UK markets or with significant activities in the UK. It operates with an ethical screen to limit or avoid investments in companies involved in activities considered unethical. The fund can invest in companies of any market capitalization and in a range of industry sectors, with a bias towards small and medium companies. It may also invest up to 20% in equities of non-UK companies.

The fund may be exposed to risks associated with equity investments, market fluctuations, currency risk (non-Sterling exposure typically not hedged back to Sterling), and the use of derivatives for efficient portfolio management. Additionally, the fund's performance is not managed in reference to any index or benchmark, which may result in underperformance compared to market benchmarks.
