The Sub-Fund aims to grow your investment by investing in bonds issued or guaranteed by governments over the long term (5 years or more).

At least 95% of the Sub-Fund will be invested in index-linked bonds issued or guaranteed by the UK Government, with at least 80% of this investment in UK Government bonds. The Sub-Fund may also invest in investment grade bonds issued by companies, other funds, derivatives, cash, and deposits.

Investing in bonds, especially government bonds, carries risks such as interest rate risk, credit risk, and inflation risk. The Sub-Fund may also be exposed to currency risk, as all bonds must be denominated in, or hedged back to Sterling. Additionally, the use of derivatives for investment purposes or risk management may introduce additional risks to the Sub-Fund.
