Allianz Global Government Bond aims for long-term capital growth by actively managing a diverse portfolio of global government bonds. The fund primarily invests in bonds that make up its benchmark but also includes up to 20% in lower-rated or comparable quality bonds. It can allocate up to 20% of its assets to Chinese bond markets and up to 30% to asset-backed or mortgage-backed securities. Additionally, the fund may hold up to 10% in contingent convertible bonds and fully invest in emerging markets when appropriate. To ensure liquidity and manage risks, it can also temporarily invest in money market instruments.
