The fund also diversifies by allocating up to one-third to currency-hedged non-Euro debt and foreign agencies, up to 10% to asset-backed securities like mortgage-backed bonds, another 10% to debt securities rated just above B-/B3, and up to 7.5% to contingent convertible bonds. Typically, the portfolio maintains an average duration of three and a half years or shorter.
