Amundi Euro Liquidity Short Term SRI seeks to deliver a return above the compounded €STR, net of ongoing charges, by investing in very short-term euro money market instruments and debt securities such as bonds and Treasury bills, with maturities of up to 397 days and very limited interest-rate risk. The portfolio is managed actively, with investments selected on the basis of both financial criteria — including liquidity, maturity, yield and credit quality — and ESG analysis. Each issuer is assessed on an ESG scale from A to G, and at least 90% of the securities held in the fund carry an ESG rating. The fund’s SRI approach combines an “improving rating” focus with ESG integration in the selection and analysis process, so the manager appears to favor issuers and instruments that meet short-term cash-management objectives while also supporting a better overall ESG profile. In adverse market conditions, especially when €STR is very low, the fund’s net asset value may still decline and performance may fall short of capital preservation.
