General Objective
The objective of this Sub-Fund is to passively track the performance of the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Developed Index and minimize the tracking error between the net asset value of the Sub-Fund and the performance of the Index. The Sub-Fund aims to achieve a level of tracking error that will not normally exceed 1%.
Fund Exposure
The Sub-Fund is exposed to listed real estate companies and REITS worldwide through the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Developed Index. The exposure to the Index is achieved through direct replication, mainly by making direct investments in transferable securities and/or other eligible assets representing the Index constituents in a proportion extremely close to their proportion in the index.
Risks
Some of the risks associated with this Sub-Fund include market risk, tracking error risk, and the potential impact of derivatives used by the Investment Manager to manage inflows and outflows or to enhance exposure to an Index constituent. Additionally, there is a risk associated with securities lending operations that the Sub-Fund may enter into to generate additional income.
