The objective of this Fund is to generate returns in excess of the Russell 2000 Total Return Index through active management and a bottom-up selection approach.

The Fund achieves its objective by investing in a portfolio consisting of long and synthetic short positions in liquid equity, equity-related instruments, and bonds. The core portfolio is expected to be constructed of North American equity securities, exchange-traded and OTC equity options, exchange-traded equity futures, and other financial derivative instruments.

The Fund is exposed to various risks including liquidity risk, derivative risk, counterparty risk, emerging markets risk, credit risk, currency risk, and operational risk. Additionally, the Fund may not be able to hedge or reduce foreign exchange risk at all times, and there is a lack of universally accepted framework for sustainable finance.
