Ardtur European Focus Absolute Return Fd. invests in a wide variety of assets, including stocks and equity-related instruments like warrants and convertible bonds, as well as government and corporate bonds. The fund also uses derivatives to take both long and short positions, and includes commodities, currencies, and cash in its portfolio. Additionally, up to 20% of its investments can be in emerging markets, and it may allocate up to 10% to other collective investment schemes. This flexible approach allows the fund to fully concentrate on any single asset class, including below investment grade debt, based on the investment manager’s strategy.
