AXA ACT Carbon Transition Sterling Buy and Maintain Credit Fund Z Gross Income

The general objective of this fund is to generate an income and capital return over the long term in line with the sterling denominated investment grade corporate bond market, while keeping its weighted average carbon intensity lower than the fund manager's carbon emissions benchmark.

The fund exposure includes investing at least 70% of its Net Asset Value in sterling-denominated investment grade corporate bonds, with the possibility of also investing in non-sterling denominated investment grade corporate bonds hedged back into sterling. The fund is managed globally, largely in more developed markets, but may also include investments in emerging markets. The fund manager focuses on limiting turnover, avoiding downgrades and defaults, and diversifying the portfolio across different corporate sectors.

The risks associated with this fund include credit risk, interest rate risk, market risk, and ESG risk. The fund manager applies sector-specific investment guidelines and ESG standards to mitigate excessive degrees of ESG risk. Additionally, the fund manager may disinvest if an investment no longer meets the criteria set out in the investment policy or expectations for achieving income, capital growth, and the fund's decarbonisation objective.
