The Barclays Global Markets Growth Fund aims for long-term capital growth and income by primarily allocating between 45% and 85% of its assets to equity securities. At least 70% of the fund’s investments are directed into passively managed second funds, including exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which invest in a diverse range of asset classes such as equities, fixed income securities, money-market instruments, cash, deposits, and derivatives. Additionally, up to 30% of the portfolio may be invested directly in these same asset classes. This strategy ensures the fund maintains a balanced exposure to both moderate and higher-risk assets, focusing on developed market equities and a variety of fixed income and short-term investments.
