The Barclays Multi-Asset Balanced Fund aims for long-term capital growth and income by allocating 30% to 70% of its assets to equity securities and investing at least 70% in a diverse mix of other funds. These underlying funds include both passively and actively managed options, such as exchange-traded funds, and cover a wide range of asset classes like stocks, bonds, money-market instruments, cash, deposits, derivatives, and alternatives such as property and commodities. Additionally, the fund directly invests up to 30% of its assets in these various asset classes, excluding alternative assets where direct investment isn’t possible.
