The fund aims to deliver positive returns on an annual basis, targeting returns within a range of cash (SONIA (90-day compounded)) on a rolling 12-month basis and cash (SONIA (90-day compounded)) +4% per annum on a rolling annualised five year basis. However, a positive return is not guaranteed and a capital loss may occur.

The fund gains exposure to a wide range of asset classes including company shares, bonds, cash, commodities, and property through stock exchange listed investments and derivatives. It may also employ 'long/short' strategies, invest significantly in cash and cash-like investments, and allocate up to 10% of its assets in collective investment schemes. The fund is actively managed, giving the Investment Manager discretion over the selection of investments.

The fund's exposure to derivatives and leverage through 'long/short' strategies may result in magnified returns, both positive and negative, compared to the underlying investments. Additionally, the fund's performance is measured against SONIA (90-day compounded) as a lower threshold and SONIA (90-day compounded) + 4% per annum as an upper threshold, reflecting the level of risk taken by the fund.
