General Objective
The fund aims to achieve positive environmental and/or social impacts while generating a total return comprised of income and capital growth by investing in emerging market debt and debt-related securities and related FDI.
Fund Exposure
The fund follows a thematic approach and holds investments meeting the definition of sustainable investment under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. It invests in Use of Proceeds Impact Bonds to finance projects with positive environmental and/or social impact. The fund intends to invest more than 70% of its net asset value in emerging markets with no particular industry or sector focus, and at least 70% in fixed or floating corporate debt.
Risks
The fund may invest up to 100% of its net asset value in sub-investment grade or unrated securities, and up to 10% in open-ended collective investment schemes including exchange traded and money market funds. Additionally, the fund may invest up to 10% of its net asset value in Contingent Convertible Securities ("CoCos"). The fund also uses derivatives to help achieve its investment objective, which may introduce additional risks.
