Cardano Duurzaam Mixfonds Defensief primarily invests in euro-denominated sustainable corporate bonds of investment grade quality and listed global equities. About half of its equity investments are placed in the ACTIAM Duurzaam Index Aandelenfonds, while the other half go into the ACTIAM Impact Wereld Aandelenfonds, which focuses on companies that support the Sustainable Development Goals.
