The Aegon Sterling Corporate Bond Fund invests primarily in a diversified mix of investment grade corporate bonds from companies around the world, ensuring that at least 80% of its portfolio consists of high-quality bonds rated Baa3 or higher by Moody’s, BBB- or higher by Standard & Poor’s, or Fitch’s equivalent ratings. Additionally, up to 10% of the fund may include high yield corporate bonds, which are lower-rated and offer higher potential returns. The fund is actively managed to balance credit quality and interest rate risk, aiming to provide both income and capital growth over a seven-year period.
