Objectives and investment policy This Fund is actively managed with reference to the MSCI ACWI Index in USD benchmark aiming to achieve the highest possible return. The Investment Manager seeks to identify and invest at least 75% of assets in equities and equity-type securities of companies that benefit from global long-term market trends (“Supertrends”). More than 50% of the Fund’s assets are invested on an ongoing basis in equity participations within the meaning of German Investment Tax Act (“GInvTA”). The Fund can hold a maximum of 25% in liquid assets such as short-term time deposits and money market instruments. The Investment Manager will use its discretion to overweight or underweight certain components of the Benchmark and may invest in companies or sectors not included in the benchmark in order to take advantage of specific investment opportunities. It is thus expected that the performance of the Fund will materially deviate from the benchmark. The Fund invests without being limited to a specific currency, geographical scope or industrial sector; a portion of the Fund’s assets may be invested in Emerging Markets, including People Republic of China. In order to reach its objective, the Fund can use derivative instruments and structured products to protect against movements in currencies and security prices and for efficient portfolio management. The Fund uses derivatives to reduce the impact of changes in currency exchange rates on the performance for this Share Class. The investor can sell shares of the Fund on a daily basis, as further defined in the prospectus. This Share Class does not make distributions. The Fund shall bear the costs of standard charges incurred by the Fund through securities transactions in relation to the portfolio. These charges are not included in the "Charges" section of this document.
