General Objective
The fund aims to increase the value of investments over the long term by investing at least two-thirds of its assets in shares of companies in emerging markets and/or companies with significant operations in emerging markets. It may also invest up to 30% of its assets in China A Shares via the China-Hong Kong Stock Connect Programme.
Fund Exposure
The fund is actively managed in reference to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index and promotes environmental and social characteristics by integrating responsible investment measures. It aims to compare favorably against the index over rolling 12-month periods using the Columbia Threadneedle ESG Materiality Rating model. The fund currently exhibits a growth style bias relative to its benchmark.
