The investment objective of the subfund of this umbrella fund is mainly, by investing in a portfolio of equity securities and book-entry equity securities in small and medium-sized Swiss companies, to achieve long-term value growth in Swiss francs that exceeds the benchmark index (Swiss Performance Index (SPI) – SPI EXTRA Total Return). This subfund primarily invests in equity securities and book-entry equity securities (shares, dividend-right certificates, shares in cooperatives, participation certificates, etc.) as well as in other investments permitted under the fund contract. Derivatives can be used for hedging purposes and for efficient portfolio management. Furthermore, derivatives can also be used for investment purposes. This does not produce a leverage effect. Shares in the subfund can be redeemed on any working day, with the exception of public holidays in Switzerland or when a significant part of the stock exchanges and markets of the subfund is closed. Income can be distributed each year. The currency of the subfund is CHF and the currency of the share class is CHF. KD shares are exclusively reserved for institutional investors that invest at least CHF 1 million per initial subscription or have entered into a corresponding agreement with DWS CH AG or its distribution partner. Taking into consideration the minimum recommended holding period, the return will depend on the performance of the underlying investments.
