East Capital Balkans aims for long-term growth by investing mainly in shares and equity-related instruments of companies located in the Balkan region. At least half of its investments are in businesses based in Albania, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Turkey. The fund also includes companies that, while not based in these countries, have significant operations there. Managed actively, East Capital Balkans seeks to outperform the regional market by carefully selecting and managing its diverse portfolio of Balkan-focused companies.
