General Objective
The fund aims to invest in a diversified portfolio of unsecured asset-based Sukuks in the MENA region and globally, with the primary goal of achieving high income and capital growth. Diversification will be achieved by investing in a variety of Sukuks with different maturities from various issuers.
Fund Exposure
The fund will invest in Sukuk pre-approved by the Shari'a Board, holding up to 100% of its assets in Transferable Securities including asset-based Sukuks. It may also hold cash in non-interest bearing accounts or with Islamic Finance Institutions, along with cash equivalents such as Wakala and Murabaha. The fund may concentrate its assets in a limited number of Sukuks, with no single Sukuk representing more than 10% of the fund's value. Additionally, the fund may invest in Shari'a compliant collective investment schemes up to 10% of the fund's value and Shari'a compliant derivatives.
