Eurizon China Opportunity aims to grow investments by primarily investing in Chinese corporate and government bonds, including both investment-grade and higher-risk debt, as well as significant holdings in Chinese equities such as China A shares. The fund typically allocates at least 80% of its assets to various debt and debt-related securities like covered and convertible bonds and money market instruments, with up to half of the portfolio in equities. Additionally, it includes investments in lower-rated and unrated debt and maintains indirect exposure to asset-backed and contingent convertible bonds, all focused on companies and issuers based in China and Hong Kong.
