General Objective
The fund aims to deliver a high level of income for relatively low risk. The manager constructs the portfolio from the bottom up, identifying infrastructure companies trading on attractive valuations and with a good or improving outlook. The manager will favour companies which offer attractive dividend yields and can grow dividends over time from organic free cash flow generation.
Fund Exposure
The fund is characterized by being at least 70% invested in the shares of companies throughout the world selected from a universe of infrastructure sectors including, but not limited to, telecommunications, utilities, energy, transportation, and social (including educational services and healthcare facilities). The fund has the freedom to invest outside its principal geographies, market sectors, industries, or asset classes. It may invest in assets directly or achieve exposure indirectly through other eligible means including derivatives.
Risks
The value of investments and any income from them may go down as well as up and an investor may not get back the amount invested. The use of financial derivative instruments may result in increased gains or losses within the fund. This fund targets specific industries, which can make it more volatile than funds with more diversified portfolios.
