Fidelity Funds - Euro Short Term Bond Fund D-Acc-EUR

The fund aims to achieve capital growth over time and provide income by primarily investing in short-dated, euro-denominated government and investment grade corporate bonds. Returns are driven by yield curve positioning, asset allocation, sector allocation, and security selection.

The fund is exposed to euro-denominated debt securities, focusing on investment grade European fixed rate debt securities with less than five years to effective maturity. It may also invest in non-euro denominated securities, hybrids, and contingent convertible bonds. The average duration of the fund's investments will not exceed 3 years.

The fund may be more than 35% invested in Government and public securities, which can be issued or guaranteed by other countries and Governments. Additionally, the use of financial derivative instruments for investment purposes may expose the fund to a higher degree of risk and larger price fluctuations. There is a risk that bond issuers may not be able to repay borrowed money or make interest payments, and rising interest rates may cause the value of investments to fall.
