The Fidelity European High Yield Fund invests primarily in high-yield, below investment grade debt from companies based in Western, Central, and Eastern Europe, including Russia and emerging markets. At least 70% of the fund’s assets are dedicated to these risky bonds, while up to 30% can include hybrid and contingent convertible (CoCo) bonds, with CoCos making up no more than 20%. Additionally, the fund may hold other subordinated financial debt, preference shares, and a small portion of distressed securities, limited to 10% of its assets. Money market instruments may also be included to support the investment strategy.
