It may invest in assets directly or achieve exposure indirectly through derivatives, with the aim of risk or cost reduction. Investments may be made in currencies other than the fund’s reference currency, and exposure to currencies may be hedged. The fund is actively managed without reference to an index, and income earned is paid to shareholders out of gross investment income and from capital.
